Grand Theft Auto VI has reportedly been hit by another major leak, with alleged gameplay clips and a possible map image appearing online ahead of Rockstar Games’ next official showcase.
The reported leak comes as interest in GTA 6 continues to build before its November 19, 2026 launch on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Rockstar has not confirmed whether the leaked footage or map are authentic, so the materials should be treated as unverified unless the company comments publicly.
GTA 6 Gameplay Clips Reportedly Surface Online
According to IGN’s report, several clips claiming to show GTA 6 gameplay appeared online, along with an image said to show the game’s full map.
The clips reportedly feature Jason, one of GTA 6’s two main characters, in different gameplay situations. One clip was said to show him playing basketball, while another reportedly showed driving and combat-style gameplay.
The Verge also reported seeing three clips that appeared to show GTA 6 footage, including scenes involving Jason Duval, driving, fighting, and a possible return of the six-star Wanted system. Some clips were later removed from the site where they were viewed because of a copyright claim.
Group Named CyberLeek Reportedly Claims Responsibility
The leaked clips were reportedly marked with references to a person or group calling itself CyberLeek.
According to reports, the group used the leak to criticize Rockstar’s move toward a digital-first release model. The material reportedly included messaging tied to the lack of a physical disc and included links to a cryptocurrency connected to the CyberLeek name.
This part of the story remains especially sensitive. The group’s identity, access, motives, and claims have not been independently confirmed by Rockstar.
Rockstar’s Physical GTA 6 Version Will Not Include a Disc
The digital-release criticism is tied to one confirmed detail: GTA 6’s physical version will not include a game disc.
Rockstar’s official support page says the physical version of Grand Theft Auto VI will contain a digital download code inside the box. It also states that “a disc will not be included in the box.”
The same support page confirms that GTA 6 will be available for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, with both Standard Edition and Ultimate Edition options listed.
Rockstar Has Not Confirmed the Leak
Rockstar Games and parent company Take-Two Interactive have not publicly confirmed the authenticity of the latest leaked GTA 6 materials.
That means the reported gameplay clips, map image, and CyberLeek claims should not be treated as official information. They may come from an older build, an internal version, or another unverified source.
The leak also arrives shortly before Rockstar’s next official GTA 6 presentation. Rockstar’s official GTA 6 page lists “An Extended Look” for August 27 at 3 PM ET, with the game still scheduled to launch on November 19, 2026.
