Pokémon and Polaroid are releasing a special edition instant photography collection featuring Pokémon-themed cameras, film, and accessories.
The Pokémon Company listed the collaboration on its official news page on August 18, 2026, under merchandise, confirming that the “Pokémon × Polaroid Special Edition Range Cameras” are coming soon.
New Cameras Feature Pikachu, Sylveon, and Poké Ball Designs
The collection includes three special edition Polaroid cameras based on existing Generation 3 models.
According to The Verge, the lineup includes a yellow Polaroid Go Gen 3 inspired by Pikachu, a pink-and-blue Polaroid Go Gen 3 inspired by Sylveon, and a red-and-white Polaroid Now Gen 3 designed after a standard Poké Ball.
The Pokémon styling gives the cameras a collector-friendly look while keeping them tied to Polaroid’s current instant camera range.
Pokémon Film and Accessories Are Also Coming
The release is not limited to cameras.
The collection also includes Pokémon-themed Polaroid film and accessories. The Verge reported that Polaroid Go Color instant film will feature Pikachu and Sylveon designs, while Color i-Type instant film will include Pokémon silhouettes and character-themed frames.
Polaroid is also releasing matching accessories for the smaller Go Gen 3 cameras, including a Poké Ball-themed case, shoulder strap, and photo album.
Preorders Start August 25
The Pokémon × Polaroid collection will be available for preorder starting August 25, 2026, in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom through Polaroid and Pokémon Center websites. A wider global release is expected to follow on October 5, 2026.
The products are expected to be released in limited quantities, which could make availability tight for Pokémon collectors and instant camera fans.
